Unmanned Systems
Software that makes unmanned systems useful in the last mile.
Unmanned aircraft are only as good as the software that flies, sees, and decides. Enotrium builds onboard and ground software for tactical UAS — autonomy, payload control, and operator tools designed for small teams and austere launch sites.
Built for the air vehicle you have
We integrate with tactical and small UAS rather than asking a program to wait on a new airframe. Our software sits on the aircraft, on the payload, and in the ground control environment — with a bias toward open interfaces, rapid payload swap, and graceful degradation when a link drops.
From hangar to range
We support payload integration, onboard compute, operator interfaces, and range evaluation. The goal is a system a small team can employ, not a demonstration that only works with a van full of engineers on the net.
GPS-Denied Autonomy, Powered by Vector-Based Vision
Multiple machine-vision technologies combined with navigation algorithms deliver GPS-denied autonomy. Without detecting and tracking the objects and features in the environment around the UAV, navigation algorithms cannot guide the aircraft in accordance with its mission. Vision-based feature tracking supplies the positional reference that satellite navigation would otherwise provide.
Autonomy in New, Unmapped Flight Terrain
In unknown and unmapped flight environments, the same methodology is deployed on the edge — and optionally across a mesh of networked UAVs. When no pre-flight spatial data exists, the aircraft maps the terrain it flies through and uses extracted visual feature sets for precise reference of movement against its initial location. The map built during flight can be reused on subsequent missions and shared with any other connected UAV.
